AERO ASAHI CORPORATION changing name to AERO TOYOTA from July 2025

AERO ASAHI CORPORATION (Headquarters: Koto-ku, Tokyo; Representative: President Hiroshi Kato) will be changing its company name to AERO TOYOTA CORPORATION, effective July 1, 2025.

Reason for change of company name
Since its foundation in 1955, AERO ASAHI has strived and succeeded in the development of a diverse array of social infrastructures in pursuit to realize its corporate philosophy of “To the Sky, For the Future.” We have been providing spatial information services, leveraging our geospatial information technology, one of the best in Japan, and aviation services, centered around helicopter and business jet operations.
In 1997, we finally became a part of the group led by Toyota Motor Corporation (“Toyota”), which has been working to realize a society in which everyone can move freely and asserting its ambition for air mobility since the foundation of its business. We have since then led Toyota’s Air Mobility services which shuttles Toyota related passengers between the various facilities of Toyota activities. Furthermore, we are collaborating with Joby Aviation to develop a new air taxi service utilizing an eVTOL*1.
Marking our 70th anniversary in July 2025, we are excited to announce that we will be changing our company name to better represent our strong ties with Toyota.
